CBC News - Health - Breastfeeding posters guide mothers

Here is a breastfeeding friendly campaign across the country in little PEI. They are tackling ice rinks - and offering a comfortable room for mothers who choose a more private location. Is this something we should be looking at in Penticton? Our campaign so far has focused on welcoming mothers to breastfeeding 'anytime, anywhere' but in larger public facilities, we should also be encouraging the option of a more private place for breastfeeding. This reminds me, we haven't had any dialogue with the City of Penticton about what is planned for the new Community Centre in this regard...

I am not in Pentiction but while I do think theses rooms are great. Many mums are not comfortable nursing in public so theses rooms IMO do promote nursing. I though do not want them to be used to try and compel a woman to use them. I have always just nursed my babies anywhere and everywhere.
